Alain Goraguer – La Planète Sauvage

La Planète Sauvage is different. This album is the soundtrack to the same titled animated science fiction film from 1973, which is an excellent creative and philosophical piece. Both the soundtrack and the movie are a strong recommendation for their strangeness, creativity and artisty. If you like experimental and atmospheric music with a minimalistic psychedelic 1970s touch, you will find exactly that here. The soundtrack structure is an advantage for rare gem diggers, with 25 songs that repeat the same theme in various ways. It is in some ways similar to library music but influenced by a fusion of genres.

Although Alain Goraguer created some of the most interesting and influential pieces of music, he was never a famous superstar like other composers at his level. His catalogue is full of gems and worth it to take a deeper look into. In the newsletter, you will find more music that is similar to this, but lesser known – unique, vintage and atmospheric gems.
